Emery went a whole league season without an away win at a team who were a heck of a lot better than we are.

Considering our away performances over the last 25 years, I'm not quite sure he was a good fit.

I think Arsenal have got completely the wrong fit for themselves too for what it's worth.

Wenger putting his vote behind Arteta was his problem.

Whole new regime at Arsenal coming, they will be sound.

You would still have him here over silva. We’re not big enough for emery.

I liked him in his early Sevilla days and of course thank him enormously for beating that lot in the final.

But he has serious flaws too. To be pipped by Monaco to the league was a terrible job. He had all the resources and blew it in what should have been a 1 horse race.

Good manager no doubt. But Arsenal manager? One of the biggest jobs in world football? I'm not so sure.

I find it weird Arteta is being linked with top jobs.

Not as weird as Silva being linked with ours, Arteta seems to be very highly rated, Silva on the other hand dosent seem to rated at all but somehow seems good enough for our 'He will do' ambitions

Why do people underestimate Arsenal? Wenger has kept them at a high level for years while they set themselves in a new wonderful stadium and built up a vast pile of cash. Now his successor will get to enjoy the fruits of Wenger’s work.

This has always been Wenger’s grand plan, even though he loosened the purse strings somewhat in recent years.

His legacy is far better than Ferguson’s in that respect. Moyes was left with an old team in need of a total rebuild. Wenger has left a young team and funds to add quality in key areas.

Simply do not get the Moyes bashing.
Did far better than any of his successors with no financial backing.
Please name any manager with our budget at that time that did better at other clubs.
There are none. End of !
