I can see it being true because generally under Kronke Arsenal don’t spend big and losing out on CL again will hurt them financially.

not a chance mate. they have their issues, but they are still a big club. they bought Aubemeyang in January for nearly 60m alone. the fans would be in open revolt if they didnt spend with a new manager at the helm.

They have changed that and have a transfer committee and the manager doesn’t get much of a say.
One of the reasons Arteta bailies at the job.
