We were never getting him, hearing that then, the fella from Arsenal saying how Emery had a detailed knowledge of the players at Arsenal, and he went there with a presentation on what he is going to do and how he works....etc not a chance anyone is going to put that kind of effort in to come to Everton and I cant see us expecting it.

Not sure who they other 7 candidates were, Arteta one, i can see Tellegrini, Tuchel and Fonseca before they bailed knowing they wasnt in the running perhaps

You must be so optimistic about the future with Pochettino signing a new deal, the new stadium and the fact that ypu only need a few more quality additiona to be a really top team, supposedly with funds to buy them too. I'd love to be in your position.

Will we win one? We are good enough but who knows. I have given up worrying about it to be honest, if it happens, it happens.

Why haven't we? Probably because the new stadium means concentrating on top 4 has been essential. Hopefully we can alter our priorities a little next season.

Bale? Possibility but wages are the big issue but Poch has hinted at something 'crazy' so who knows. Would be brilliant if we pulled it off though.
