Ukraine: UN report shows rising civilian deaths, ongoing rights abuses

Intense fighting, including the use of heavy weaponry by both sides, in densely populated areas of eastern Ukraine, has increased the loss of civilian life, with an average of around 36 people being killed every day, says a new report issued today by the United Nations human rights office.

Hard to tell from the UN report how many deaths can be attributed to either side but it appears to have been a dirty war from the beginning.

So the UN are saying itis a brutal war, erm its an effing war!! The issue is, it neednt be at all if Russia just backed off. There is zero blame on Ukraine here. Also, which you wil ignore, the brutality is not the same, Russia killing innocent civilians, Ukraine killing armed combatants, why do you see them as the same ?

So you honestly think no ethnic Russians are being killed in the fighting in Donbass? With around 8 million ethnic Russians in Ukraine your idea that only Ukrainian civilians are dying is pretty odd. But then if the BBC told you...
