And we're not staying out of it, we've very publicly taken sides. Just, ya know, the cowardly way.

Thanks man, didn't do much but yeah, fair play to mum. It'll be a big change for her but nowhere near as big as the two she's taken in.
One of them is trying to organize the purchase of a pickup truck in Poland, to get it to a friend in west Ukraine to take it to her boyfriend who's fighting in the east. He'll put weapons on it. All this over lunch on Sunday. Seems like there's a whole network of refugees doing stuff like this.

We should not be hypocrites and denounce all emperial terrorism. Yes our governments are cowards. No proposal on sanctions on usa or Israel. Not a mention. No denouncing. Actually pretending nothing is happening or has happened.

the same Bernie who fought hard to stop the J1 visa program and stop Irish students doing summer work in America.
I like Bernie but he's very insular. America runs on immigrants.
Also, after spending a primary season campaigning for Warren, I can see how fanatical and damaging his base can be.
If he was really interested in change, he would have joined the Democratic party and not tried to run on their ticket as an independent.
He's happy agitating and his base is the same.
I have a bit more hope for the likes of AOC

Now on other hand, beside Azov, there was also Marine brigade, police, territorial defense fighting in Mariupol, those guys could probably be exchanged.
