Never gonna understand why any Slavic people going around idolizing Nazis, considering what Germans planned to do.
Yes, yes, at first there was lot of people who greeted German army as liberators in Eastern Europe, especially in Baltics and Western Ukraine (that was ruled by Austrians until 1918). But then Germans started to kill everyone indiscriminately, and majority of population opened their eyes. If German army actually treated friendly population better, instead slaughtering everyone, maybe they would beat Stalin, considering that millions and millions hated Soviet guts. Bit then Nazis wouldn't be a Nazis.
But anyway there are still annual SS remembrance parades in Latvia, Estonia, Western Ukraine, but they usually get ignored in Western Europe.
