My guess is the Russian populous are spoon fed vile propaganda and rest are petrified to speak up in fear of reprisals.

I wouldn’t want to live under his government of repression and fear to speak out. Putin has brainwashed the population and unfortunately is not just Russians. Here in the US the far right also believes all the propaganda being spread by the Kremlin.

So it is very safe now. Why not NATO go in, at least in the capital, rearming and training them IRL, not just proxy?

Same here with some of my friends with Serbia and other Slavic parts of the Balkans. Genuinely impossible to approach them on the subject of Ukraine, which is honestly upsetting.

There's electoral fraud, misinformation and persecution, however in reality a lot of Russians willingly vote for Putin and his cronies.
