Ha. Are you complaining about the people who usually protest stuff, who you usually complain about their protesting, not protesting.

Are you defending people who normally protest about anything ignoring a potential invasion of a friendly country…..

No. I think if you feel that this is a cause which people should be protesting, it’s kind of on you to do the protest. Not to point at the people who you usually criticise for protesting other causes which you don’t feel as strongly about.

I don’t do protesting. I make my feelings known in other ways and by the use of my vote. It’s just strange that the usual left wing mob always ignore what is done by other left wing mobs (Russia)……..

Just spoke with a client who is in Moscow at the moment and he was saying that no one there is really giving the slightest [Poor language removed] at the situation at the moment. It's just not being discussed at all. Strange times.

I’m not that surprised personally. The Ukraine is not a member of Nato or the EU, so why is anyone in Nato or the EU arsed about this? Or us in the UK for that matter?

You understand that being "left wing" (or a right winger) is a lot like being a football supporter; you enjoy the sport but you support a different team. You think because you lean to the right that I think you're a supporter of the likes of the Taliban?

In this case it’s for two main reasons - firstly, the sheer cheek of this (which would have been seen as bad form even in the 18th and 19th centuries) threatened invasion of another European state on no pretext whatsoever.

More importantly though is what the Russians demanded; ie: the effective dismantling of the post-Cold War NATO expansion. That does affect the EU, and NATO, and the UK.
