He's got to have some level of intelligence to maintain wealth the way he has, also he says stupid things but doesn't follow through on them.. maybe he's smart enough to know that announcing stupid policies will get him the votes of stupid Americans.

I get that, but preserving wealth is a different story, if he is a gormless bozo he wouldn't remain wealthy. I don't like him but I don't consider him unintelligent.
