So the targeting coordinates for a SS are in the Ukrainians control as are the satellite data? Zero British necessity for either?

- “Challenger 2 gets bogged down” yeah no sh*t, it was purposely designed to be heavier & provide more protection than lighter, quicker T-series tanks. Russian Armoured Doctrine is also different than British/Western. Also if they’re getting bogged down, that’s poor route selection from commanders.

- “lacks protection” - Video below disagrees & it’s still far better protected than most armoured vehicles.

- “Unique main gun” - plenty of articles & videos of Ukrainian tank crews talking about the fantastic accuracy of rifled barrels. That’s a doctrine issue if they’re treating Challenger 2’s as Howitzers, not a kit issue. (We didn’t teach Ukrainians any tactics, only how to operate the kit).

The Brits were terrified to give permission to allow the Ukrainians to use them to preserve the never been destroyed in combat, within days that myth was exposed once they weren't fighting goat herders .

You seem confused on my first point. Dave said why can’t I go over as there’s soldiers over there. I’m asking what & where can a Challenger 2 Tank Commander go “fight” legally in Ukraine.

You can do if you want because I’ve not stated anywhere that they’re indestructible, no tank is which is why it’s absolutely hilarious that an article like that is complaining about protection when it’s still far better than most.

Terrified over a myth? Grow up hahaha they were the first ones to donate MBTs. The fear was after the Ukrainians started losing MBTs far too quickly & they advised on a change of doctrine.

You aren't that naive, Nato expansion for the US was never ever about bringing peace it was about applying pressure on Russia. For the countries wanting it then sure they may have wanted the security blanket, but for the US not a chance it was about democracy or protecting countries.

I firmly believe this war is nothing but a huge land grab . Putin and his cohorts have a vision of restoring the old USSR.
If it was allowed to go ahead without Ukraine getting help to defend itself there would be nothing to stop him taking all the other surrounding countries that have chose independence , hence why they want the security of NATO's umbrella.
He wants to be the all encompassing Super power of bygone days.

I don't much do politics, but I know what a despot is when I see one , he wants to go down in history as the Great ruler of a huge empire. Any opposition is squashed by whatever means and rules by fear.

He could stop this carnage including the Russian citizens he uses as cannon fodder for further advances into Ukraine.
It an utterly criminal waste of human life.
Again , he could end this ....Instantly.

They have been in Ukraine for over a year, and even from Russian sources there have been two destroyed. Compare that to Russian tanks and...

The Russians were absolutely terrified of CR2 & the DU rounds, they were threatening nuclear war over the thought of them.

They’ve been extremely effective, especially in Kursk. Both that have been taken out were apparently uncrewed hits with Lancet Drones, which no tank on the planet survives.

He asked to join NATO, he is and always has been pro west, hence him stupidly believing agreements would be upheld.

Finally I hope he realised that you can't trust a single agreement made with the US

Yeah the DU rounds from the UK got taken out in a storage silo before they ever got fired
