Russia vows response if Ukraine uses long-range missiles to strike its territory​

In a response to Joe Biden's reported decision to give Ukraine permission to fire ATACM missiles into Russia, a Russian foreign ministry spokesperson warns of an "appropriate response" if such missiles are fired into Russian territory.

"Kyiv's use of long-range missiles to attack our territory would represent the direct involvement of the United States and its satellites in hostilities against Russia, as well as a radical change in the essence and nature of the conflict," a statement reads.

"Russia's response in such a case will be appropriate and tangible," it adds.

In Europe and America there's a growing feeling of hysteria
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets
Mister Krushchev said, "We will bury you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It'd be such an ignorant thing to do
If the russians love their stolen children too

We’ve done this dance a million times anyway, no matter how many civilians Russia kill, no matter how much civilian infrastructure is destroyed, no matter how many Ukrainian children are kidnapped to Russia, no matter how many Bucha’s there are you’ll continue to find reasons to blame NATO, Ukraine, Starmer, the boogeyman.

Then the heel turn. Then the proclamation he'd backed the opposite side all along, and then the glorious 'I was right all along' strut. It's quite the dance.

Again, I don’t think there’s anyone here who wants the war to continue. I’d absolutely love there to be a ceasefire tomorrow.

The constant conversation in this thread has always been about whos “fault” it is & you seem hold the opinion shared by the Kremlin. You’re entitled to hold that opinion, as is everyone who then counters with theirs.

We’ve heard the same threats from Russia since the invasion. They might be the aggressor & ruthless but they’re certainly not stupid. They done nothing once NATO gave permission to kit in Kursk, it was ridiculous that they restricted long range missiles in the first place.

Either let them use it or don’t.

2022 Putin started mewing about SCALP/Stormshadow. But did nothing

2023 He had a cry about ATACMS. Ukraine started using them and he did nothing.

2023 Putin was moaning about Western tanks being supplied to Ukraine. Said it would cross a red line. Ukraine got them, used them and he did nothing.

2023 Putin gobbed off that if Finland joined NATO then hell and fury would follow. Finland did join NATO along with Sweden and Putin shat in his bed.

2024 Putin was banging on about F-16’s. Said he was readying his nuclear arsenal. Ukraine got them, used them and once again Putin did nothing,

2024 Ukraine invaded Russia. Putin threatened nuclear Armageddon but did….Nothing.

Now these Western supplied LR strikes into Russia ATACMS/Stormshadow/SCALP-ER. And he’s crying again like a lil bish. And what will he do…..

My record in this thread is to call out both Zelensky and Putin as dictators and Ukraine and Russia as kleptocracies.
