Rapid gains? Come on they are still less than 170 miles from the Russian borders after 3 years, some of the men on the front line could drive to Russia for dinner and be back on the front by bed time. They may well take parts of Ukraine but as a military force Russia are done, almost every other country that borders Russia to it's west is now in NATO and that is a massive loss for Russia regardless of what happens in Ukraine. Intrest rates in Russia are now over 20% which isn't an indication that the economy is as good as the Kremlin would have you believe that's a loss...Russia has been sanctioned to death another loss, the no limits relationship with China, it would seem that there are limits and NK soldiers in Russia seem to be nearing one of those limits, Another loss, Belarus aren't coming across as very friendly to Russia right now Lukashenko called NK soldiers an escalation, another loss..... they are losing everywhere but you call a few miles of gains into Ukraine winning.
