I will post one time in here and then disappear back to the abyss.

Some of you have engaged with me on other topics, in other threads and about football, by now you should realise after about 14 years on here I'm not a 'putin bot'.

This post isn't actually aimed at certain posters who dominate in here, Mutzo, Spadge etc, why because they are quite clearly not realists, don't accept any factors besides Russia is an evil empire, the Ukraine is angelic fighting to be free.

Anyone quoting the Atlantic council, ISW etc - then criticising others for posting pro russian propaganda, - either are completely clueless to the nature of if these sites/groups or are purposefully engaging in propaganda. Why - just check who runs them, there funding etc.

Anyone who quotes RT - yup same thing btw, Sputnik then same thing btw.

Anyone who dismisses Russia as bring provoked is a lie, is living in fairytale land, the current head of the CIA over twenty years ago wrote about how NATO expansion to Ukraine was a red line, people like Mearsheimer have long stated it as such.

The USA has the exact same red line btw, it's called the Monroe doctrine, seen best in operation during the Cuban missile crisis, when the threat of the USSR expanding to Cuba was enough that the USA would have nukes Russia and ended the world to prevent it, thankfully Kennedy was there.

Now to the current conflict. Russia committing genocide - hmm look at Israel, does what you see compare remotely?
Seen in this thread countless hyperbole of Russia murdering and raping their way through the Ukraine. Brutal orks, steaming toilets, issued with Viagra, beheading babies - sadly Russia doesn't have spiked helmets like Germany in WW1 otherwise they could have used them as per the way it was reported at the time.

Russia is using meat wave attacks, suffered 700k dead, the Ukraine has suffered 57k dead, yet one country is recruiting 30k volunteers to the paid army, the other is dragging people off streets, one is running out of men, the other is not.
One us now being pressured to reduce the conscription age, the other is issuing paid contracts.

I've seen a certain poster just recently praise the Ukraine for protecting Europe from Russia with their sacrifice, a sacrifice that never actually needed to happen, one which even after the preventable start could have ended a few months after but didn't - why didn't it? Because like most world matters what the US policy is really is determined by what is best for the USA - not what is best for democracy, or the country they sre so concerned about, but rather us best for for the USA.

Am I biased - yes, am I informed - yes, has the Ukraine been led up the primrose path by NATO - yes.

I won't go into any of the nazi stuff, it's a side note, if you ignore it you either think it's ok, or you hate Russia more than you despise the other - fair play you support Nazis, I asked one of the most prominent posters in here to denounce anybody using this - he didn't, even when using the same fascist line to debounce Trump, for me that's telling.

Maybe some posters here are connected to the Ukraine historically or through familial backgrounds anti russian, maybe it's just a herd mentality. Guess I can understand the first two, the latter two, get in the bin.

Maybe it's just virtue signalling somewhat, or maybe it's simply just believing what the MSM or connected to the west sites say.

But do realise one thing, a country of 42m that has ost 57k people now no longer csn staff regiments - do the math, a country that feeds its troops into neat grinders and has lost 700k dead csn still recruit 30k people a month voluntarily.

How, does that make any sense if you don't believe the trope that Russians are these primitive savages who care nought for life.

As a lady note, I fully expect zero engagement besides for GIFs of potatoes Putin bot quotes, etc, or repeating of unproven statements, the Haitians are eating the pets etc - of wait if that's Russia then yeah obviously they are aren't they

Feel free to troll away - I'm outta here before another poster gets inflamed enough tho wish death on my kids.

I read it. Fair play. My own POV is that the Ukraine hasn't been able to end this after a few months because it's being invaded. Russia could end this, should end this, and won't. My support for Ukraine is based off them defending their lives and their country from tyranny. None of this continues to happen, potato gifs included, if Russia just stops.
 
I see there's currently a Russian campaign targeting message boards/news outlets. They are posing as disgruntled westerners pushing Russian propaganda and supporting Trump.

I think it was more a case of a big strong country, led by a dictator, thinking it could just walk in and take a weaker country over. Personally I saw this coming during the Brexit debates and said so at the time, that I believed the EU drive to the East would eventually move to include Ukraine and give Russia the excuse for war…Don’t give up in here btw…….
