Might well be well stocked with artillary, but NATO have moved beyond Artillary. Russia have faced no modern navy, no modern aircraft, no modern long range missiles, Russia will be depleated enough by the time this war ends, with something they can call victory that they'll have to milk for a hundred years, Remember they have lost hundreds of thousands of men and vast amounts of equipment and are still within 150 miles of their own boarder after 2 years, A russian solder on the front could drive back to Russia for his dinner and be back on the front by bed time, that's what Russia have to show for 2 years of war, against Ukraine using expendable NATO weapons, this war could have ended last summer if Ukraine were given enough to win but that is not the plan.
EDIT, they can only remain on war footing for so long, half the country is flooded because maintanance of damns has been cut to help fund the war footing.
I don't disagree with any of your points mate, and sincerely hope that you correct. All of this horror because of a twisted little idiot with greed issues and delusions of grandeur

It's an energy war... it's no coincidence that the annexed areas have the largest lithium deposits in Europe. Russia are securing themselves as future exporters, as the world comes off gas and oil more and more lithium will be required for batteries.

100%. 👍

And in Africa including gold for the big dollar battle.
Its ALWAYS about resources..

Iraq and Libya were only ever about oil. They had to stop Saddam and Gaddafi taking control of the oil sales.

Afghanistan and Syria were all about gas. The Iranians were trying to build a new gas pipeline to feed Europe.

ISIS were built as a front and excuse to attack these countries.

I do wonder real about real losses suffered by both sides.

All these mobilization efforts and trying to force people who escaped to Europe to return doesn't sound good. Seriously doubt that gonna work anyway, if Poland try to return them to Ukraine (like they saying) they will just go to Germany.
By this point of war nationalists and patriots already volunteered long time ago for both sides, now remain unwilling.
But in the end of they Ukraine got no other choice, either draft or they gonna loset his war

Yea I heard about Polish efforts to send conscription dodgers back to UA. What is funny, it is still 25yo and olders. 18-25 yo men are still free to do whatever.

Some interesting YouTube content from an Ozzy lad ex Australian Infantry crew commander. Had to retire due to a brain tumour. He spent 6 months in Ukraine then started these daily updates.

Looka like the ATACMS just delivered are starting to cause havok. Reports that over 100 Russian troops have been killed on a base in Eastern Ukraine. Putin is a subhuman toerag.

Sadly kids he left as 16 year olds are now reaching the age to be considered for military service. Next year if it carries on it'll include those who were 15 and a half. Apparently those who were considered unfit due to disability have that removed after two years.

Some of us were saying they were going to lose the war from Day One. They were not in NATO, so they were never going to get the same support a NATO member would. Sending men back from Poland - men who have already demonstrated they have no interest in fighting for whatever reason - is not going to turn this around. Weapons deliveries from the west might help stabilise things, though. I'm not sure a state that can only exist by being completely militarised and which forces its civilians to die for it is one truly worth fighting for. Clearly a lot of Ukrainian men think similarly. All the talk of failure to deliver long-range rockets, etc., conveniently masks the reality that too many countries are not doing enough to send basic ammunition. If they can rectify that, there might be a chance to save Ukraine without forcing unwilling conscripts to die. If not, they will bleed out.

I think the reality of the situation is the best Ukraine can hope for is a negotiated peace and some territory conceded. Problem is Russia is all in on this and they’ll be back unless and until Ukraine is a vassal state.

And because of having common sense a few of us were accused of being Russian sympathisers. It's a modern tragedy. Time for a political solution rather than the continuing slaughter of a generation of young Ukrainians.

I do wonder why there hasn’t been a big push to just return to Pre 2022 borders. War ends, Putin consolidates Donbas/Crimea (which he’s basically had since 2014 anyway) Ukraine joins EU and becomes NATO aligned with the now with ATCAMS and Storm Shadow, the ability to flatten the Black Sea fleet.
