The troll farms will be coordinating the spin around the Putin, Carlson propaganda show. What a snake that Carlson is.

He has literally sold out the west (or at least tried to). What fux me most is he thinks he's being clever in doing so, what actually happened is he is another who got totally played by Vlad. Another who history will look back on as a dangerous fool.

How on Gods earth could Boris ‘torpedo’a deal between Ukraine and Russia...don’t let your hatred of Boris to get in the way of the real villain here….

Ask the head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation at the talks, Pete:

"In an interview with The Times, he (boris) labelled them as “total nonsense” and “Russian propaganda.”

The accusations against Johnson surfaced after David Arahamiya, the leader of the Servant of the People party faction in the Verkhovna Rada and head of the Ukrainian delegation in talks with Russia, made several controversial statements in November 2023."

Calling allies the enemy. toryism 101.

The amount of MAGA aligned fools praising this interview and how 'calm and sensible' Putin sounded just shows what a state we are in at the moment.

People are so divided that they will support a murderous dictator like Putin for the sole reason of hating Biden and therefore his support of Ukraine.
Putin sounded 'calm and sensible' while delivering the most bone-chilling speech of my lifetime right before the invasion.

It's his superpower. He's as hard to rattle as Spock, at least in front of a camera. It's why that "step up to me" picture of Putin and Obama was such a sensation. Neither of them ever was otherwise caught on camera with a facial expression like that. It showed just how bone-deep the antipathy had become.

The idea that Boris had the ability to veto a peace deal is hilarious. I know the UK still packs a punch in some regards, but we don't have that kind of leverage.

Is it likely that the west warned Ukraine against it? Quite possibly. But Boris alone? Funny.

I doubt he did intentionally veto a peace deal, but I can well see a scenario where some mistimed Churchill impression made an at that point desperate Zelensky think that further support was conditional on Ukraine fighting on.

This is the problem - you're taking words from Putin, a man who deliberately chooses every single word to confuse and mislead, then you're applying a fantastical scenario that hasn't been corroborated by a single credible person on earth to make the story fit.

There is no way on earth the Ukrainians would have made any decision without consulting the US, even if Boris had delivered some incredible Churchillian speech against signing it.

War of attrition usually favors much larger country that depends on itself and not mercy and political fortunes of others ([Poor language removed] that currently going in America is child play whats gonna happen if Trump win).

There are estimated only 30 million of people in Ukraine currently, nationalists and patriots (motivated people) already volunteered, now remains only mass mobilization as a option, and that stuff gonna be unpopular (reason why Zelensky dithering).
And throwing bodies at a problem is standard historical Russian strategy, there are plenty of minorities in far reaches of Russia and poor to throw yet.
Just because we don't moderate this Current Affairs page does not give anybody carte blanche to use bad and prohibited language !!!
