I think Zelenskyi is paranoid over the West having a Plan B. Obviously they've always had one, but Zelenski is relatively new to this, and is sensitive to the idea that reverses on the battlefield could eventually lead to an end to his grifting, and his administration. And I think he's haunted by what could follow closely on the heels of that.

If as I suspect that Russia refuses to launch an offensive he will launch a full frontal assault in panic rather than retreat to a defensive posture which logically is what he should be doing. On this chessboard Russia plays the pieces not the man but a coke fuelled fools paranoia has to be taken into consideration

They're both clearly extremely unpleasant people in a lot of ways - but my point is that it's better that they reveal their views in public so we're aware of it. The alternative is they both end up on some deeply unpleasant alt-right forums that act as northing more than echo chambers.
