Back to casualties of the conflict

According to the Ukraine' Minister of Health the number of Ukros who have lost limbs is 25k. In WWII, the number of people who lost their limbs was about 5% of the total number of wounded. That would mean we are talking around 500,000 wounded Ukros.

From this number, a low estimation of 25%, are dead: 125,000. Add maybe 10,000 POW, and 20,000 missing soldiers: so that’s 155,000 irretrievable Ukrainians and 500,000 wounded. That's a KIA ratio of 1/5 for the whole of the SMO. Conservative numbers. A tragedy.
