I’m an amazing poster , don’t try and deny it
Ignores the mass murdering tyrant to post fantasy bollixPart of the US Empires escalating trade war against Europe.
Yeh, that’s definitely part of the plan, that is exactly why putin invaded Ukraine. That’s definitely part of the plan - destroy Europe’s economies to be subservient to the USA
They’ve done a decent job of that.
That’s one positive outcome the US can point to out of all this.
Aw, shucks
No dates are ever given out.
There's not a whole lot of difference in terms of range between ATACMS and Storm Shadows, they're not a major hardware kit, they're missiles due for destruction in the next year or so.I've got the date here mate...
....the 12th of Never.
Seriously though - major hardware like that will not be allowed into Ukrainian hands. Washington's objective is to keep the war simmering away not risk it boiling over into a continental conflagration.
If that's the case why aren't they using them on Russian supply lines behind the front lineThere's not a whole lot of difference in terms of range between ATACMS and Storm Shadows, they're not a major hardware kit, they're missiles due for destruction in the next year or so.
As for F16s, the pilots are being trained. They'd be no use without trained pilots. Its probably another 6 months from seeing them in Ukraine.
My guess on the leak and eventual announcement is to put pressue on Germany to send their Taurus missiles. Same as the Leopards and Abrahms.
Dave were you a Donny Osmond fan back in the day. Or were you a long-haired lover from Liverpool?I've got the date here mate...

They do, but could do with a lot more of them.If that's the case why aren't they using them on Russian supply lines behind the front line

No doubt about that, the line was the US didnt want to give them missiles that they can fire into Crimea so not to provoke a Russian response. There's been UK Storm Shadows and French SCALP missiles raining down on Crimea, I havent seen London or Paris being hit in response.Maybe the suppliers have limited their use to targets they ok...
The attack on the Russian Navy HQ today looks like a 'spectacular' to chime in with Zelensky's North American visit.

The reason for the US hesitation is far more likely that Russian (and therefore China) radars will be able to track ATACMS flight paths, even though they are randomised in the last few mins) and potentially workout a defence against them down the line.
