Plenty of other articles that refer to the poles abandonment of Ukraine without attempting whitewash the two countries shocking history.

The fact that an individual article rewrites history is neither here nor there.

I don’t know why you’re harping on about it as though you’ve exposed me in some way - you haven’t.

I actually don’t think western support will end. I’ve argued the opposite. Don’t know where you’re getting that from.

It’s a disagreement over trade and grain, nothing more. Polish govt are under pressure from their own Agricultural lobby which is very strong in Poland.

Poland still provides the logistics hubs for weapons and material flowing into Ukraine.

Poland still maintains the armour repair facilities for Ukraine

Poland still hosts the drone manufacturing sites for Ukraine

Poland still provides medical and rehabilitation support for injured Ukranians

Poland still hosts around 1.5million Ukranian refugees.

the Poles have no one to blame for this embarrassment but themselves. Did they hope that Zelensky and his group would bow before them? Oh well. Just remember how Bandera, who now routinely appears on the 'Svidomo' banners, treated the Poles. His current followers think the same about the Poles today. Polish society is well aware of those atrocities, even if their current political leadership appear to have fogotten it in their confusion.

The Ukrainians have had a window of opportunity to get the job done and - despite all the words about 'it'll take years' and 'we'll back Ukraine until they say they want a deal' - the west, and the US in particular, have a bigger fish to fry geo-politically. They know that to isolate China they have to get the global south in behind them - something not possible while they are still offering tacit and actual support to Moscow.

No, they'll continue their understanding with Russia - Russia is their buffer. Russia and China are both in the West's cross hairs, but regime change in China is the key to undermining the whole thing.

This where that lack of skilled diplomacy AGAIN rears it's head.

I've been banging on about this and it's a very real threat to Ukraine that they have clueless men at the top of the country who can't navigate through important institutions to keep onside with other nations and blocs.

If Zelensky can alienate Biden that just underlines what clowns they are.

To have a diplomatic and trade war with Poland is a major difficulty for the Kyiv regime now.

Ukraine need elections and a new leadership.
