You are an utter joker who I barely bother reading any more but I will correct you on the point of the economy - it’s more like wests economy that is getting ground down at a rate of knots, than Russias.

Throwing insults around doesn’t work in here. It’s full of intelligent people who hold a view. Just give your view without the insults unless you are unable……

That was my point. The country was one of the two main players in that invasion. Don’t think many of here supported it or agree with it now. Blanket saying anyone in the West can’t have a critical view of Russia’s crimes just because the country we live in has been involved in things just as bad/worse is ridiculous.

I think they should yes.

Is there a point to this or is it just deflecting from my point that no British person can ever stand on safe gorund and condemn Russia before they condemn their own country's actions, past and present.

It should give you some pause for thought though.

No Russian citizen could ever take serioulsy the comments about their country when it comes from a citizen of a country that's a historic, industrial scale human rights abuser.

Dave, I’m really not interested in a past where you were not even born. What’s gone has gone, it was neither your doing nor mine. I’m more interested in today and the suffering of the Ukraine population at the hands of a man who thinks the Russian empire still exists and that he can do as he wants. Put the past aside and just comment on what is happening today……
 
The world will continue to be caught up in ideological warfare. There are no winners, just those at the top profiteering from it, trading resources and collateral, with people as another commodity to be used and spent at will. It is impossible to change this. So most people will align with an ideology based on their values education, upbringing, bias and location.

Its sick. But people will not unite behind one universal idea that enables and props up all people, as inherently people are all different.

Its a never ending war with no winner.

Ukraine is just the latest theatre.
I feel sorry for all the people affected by this corruption system.

@Kev The Rat that all being said, you are nothing more than a WUM, a troll, a multi and not very good at it. Bore off.
