You know what, for the longest time I just took @Kev The Rat to be a rather unintelligent contrarian WUM.

But the mask is starting to slip now, and what's underneath is really ugly. This isn't just your average single-digit IQ incel nonsense. It's a severe dislike of the Ukrainian people who want nothing more than to live in peace without their friends, families and countrymen being raped and murdered by a tyrannical dictator.
Blah blah blah

It is unlikely that Ukraine managed to send multiple drones 800km, crossing Belarus without anyone noticing. They would need a fair amount of fuel also.

It looks like a direct attack from NATO, but as always we need the evidence. Clearly, the US is desperate for a war with Russia. The idea that an assassination in the US could be arranged to create a casus belli is not that far fetched.

As yet Russia has refused to apportion blame which is interesting
The ramblings of an utter headcase

Just as an aside, if there is a gap in the military radar net in western Russia then along the border with Belarus is probably where it is; compared to the network looking over Ukraine and into NATO at least. It is also not that much further from Ukraine to Pskov than it is to Moscow; they are well capable of doing an attack like this with their existing drones. They might have gotten western support in terms of satellite info, though even then that might have just been buying imagery of the likes of Maxar.

Finally it is perhaps worth recalling that there was a similar attack to this earlier this year, when "Belorussian partisans" damaged an A-50 using small drones whilst it was on the ground near Minsk.

How did Russian S400 not see 40 odd plastic drones flying over Russian airspace and hitting airfields?

There is some phenomenal technological innovation going on in Ukraine. Re-purposing Neptune missiles for instance.
My guess is they’ve managed to reverse engineer and even improve on the US supplied Ghost Phoenix drones.

History will not be kind to some people in years to come. It will be like your grandad telling stories about the war and saying he was really rooting for Hitler.

I wouldn't be surprised if the thought process was linked to some sort of social inadequacy, like cosying up to the playground bully.
Thats a good take actually, especially when you look at the thin skinned politicians in the states that seem to be siding with putin.

You think it is likely that multiple drones were launched from a NATO country (presumably Estonia) without Russia noticing? Are their defences really that poor? If so, imagine the trouble they would be in if the US did actually want a war with them 😬
