Just to give you an example of how ridiculous the Kiev regime has become, no university courses are permitted to be taught in Russian, yet the Ukrainian 'language' isn't developed enough to have the technical terms required, as it originated from the peasantry in the villages and hamlets and hasn't really developed much beyond that. So educators are pretty much stuck as the technical language doesn't exist let alone any relevant textbooks in whatever pidgin language passes for 'Ukrainian'
wow, that's an unbelievably ignorant post.

What? They dont have the textbooks to teach certain courses in Ukrainian, plus the language isnt developed enough to cope with it in some cases. There's nothing questionable about that. In time im sure the language will develop fully.

For example could you teach certain university courses solely in Welsh for example? I dont know - maybe/probably not.

But the Welsh government wouldnt ban English and thereby prevent those courses being taught in Wales.

It would be ridiculous.

You'll have a source for that of course.

I’m sorry Kevin, I’m quite interested in languages and teaching but can’t find any source for this anywhere.
Is Ukrainian really such an ‘undeveloped’ language that it can’t be used for teaching? Have to say I find this all hard to believe.
Remember, MSM (mainstream media for those unaware) is out of bounds, so maybe you should look on YouTube or MySpace.

Or maybe Donny in the Western Approaches after he's had a few too many Carlings.

500,000 people speak welsh.
40 million speak Ukranian.

Wales operates primarily in English and Is not a fully independent country.
Ukraine operates primarily in Ukrainian, Has been independent for 30 years. Has it's own school and university system that operates through Ukranian.
It's not a pigeon language.
Give me one example of a course that cant be thought because theres a ban on teaching through Russian?

You are aware of internal loans within language?

So the Welsh language is also “underdeveloped?”

Like I said, I've spoken to university lecturers in Kiev who have stated they are unable to teach certain courses in Ukrainian - in their case it was Physics.

Reminds me of when Bush said “the problem with the French is that they don’t have a word for entrepreneur “…..
