Why would it being intact change anything? Countries have always expanded or reduced in size over time. Loads of individual countries nevermind territories have been traded away for peace. We've been instrumental in doing it. Giving up territory for peace and reconciliation. Hong Kong, India, Czechoslovakia ... so many.

So that's potentially Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Portugal, Poland and Romania.

It's a huge decision given the restrictiveness of ITAR and the F-16's are still very capable aircraft.

Will be very interesting to see how they manage the vast logistical requirements as well that are inherent with a modern(ish) fighter fleet.

Massive task to get this all sorted, assuming nations decide to donate them.
