Long read but the 2014 sanctions did work. So, these newer sanctions will also. Many even on here disregarded the sanctions as just posturing and I even followed their train of thought but when talking to my professional colleagues locally after leaning to the former their critiques suggested otherwise. This piece further reinforced my learned friend's views. Russia will be humbled one way or the other on a slower timeline than we would like. The Russian army is the clue in this war. It really stands out doesn't it?
