Apparently Russian and Belarusian troops in the North started to mark their vehicles with new tactical signs (triangle with number 2 inside).
That seem they are really preparing to invade from Belarus toward Kyiv, cause those markings only serve for unit recognition in combat.
Either real push or possibly faking, trying to draw as much Ukrainian troops north from the Eastern frontThe push from Belarus to Kyiv went so well last time that the Russians are going for a repeat with their even-less-abled Belarusian mates…
Good luck with that one.
A peace corridor along the northern territory of Ukraine bordering Belarus, patrolled by the UN (non NATO country troops and aircraft) would cause a rethink. Possibly framed as UN but once vetoed a Special Military Peacekeeping Operation involving such countries as India, China or Basil and JapanApparently Russian and Belarusian troops in the North started to mark their vehicles with new tactical signs (triangle with number 2 inside).

I suspect no major offensive gonna happen before late January/February, now winter is coming and then famous Rasputitsa (mud season) that would make vehicles movement outside major roads difficult.A peace corridor along the northern territory of Ukraine bordering Belarus, patrolled by the UN (non NATO country troops and aircraft) would cause a rethink. Allowing Putin to drag Belarus into invading Ukraine too would be a huge escalation and the friends of Ukraine would be pulled into responding.
It will probably end up with the west quickly supplying enough tech to annihalate any boots stepping over from the north and let Lukashenko know that this would bring Belerus military infrastructure into the scope of Ukrainaine strikes also.
Putin is a bullying [Poor language removed] and thrashing around trying to look for a way to stop the inevitable. The sooner all of the doors he thinks he might use are closed the sooner this will end.
Thats the thing, it seems really too noisy, they openly talking about Russian troops arrival and Belarusian deployments. It almost seem like a ruse, trying to lure as much Ukrainian troops north from the other fronts.Subtle as a Kane dive.
