Were all those stories of Russian troops having to rely on mobile phones for comms early in the conflict, including recordings, all faked too?
The Donetsk People's Republic militia and Luhansk had mobile phones and they were the ones recording as were the Chechen and the Wagners, but not the Russian army. Only artillery personnel are allowed phones for firing. Any recording of Russian soldiers were done by RT and Sputnik. It's amazing what you can find out with a bit of research. You should try it.

That is why I gave Davids a wide birth until he did my head in with circular references. He never really spoke about Ukraine, and I suppose he is a Russian sympathizer who dearly hates the West especially the US. It has been a breath of fresh air not having to know what he is on about lately.

Yeah ramacca is pretty spot on with that.whilst a few no doubt got hold of a mobile with the consequences of being found with it doubt many regular Russian army are gonna be filming to stick it on YouTube - calls home etc I can see obviously as they're just normal blokes missing their wives and kids

The poster I replied to explained, in detail with supporting evidence, why he believed teh video to be faked. I enquired as to his thoughts on earlier media. The "?" at the end of a sentence normally indicates a question rather than a statement.
Conversely why wouldnt they? Genuine question. Globally it would make sense to secure that region to ensure a safer world if NATO thinks that way?

Becuase it's massive, impossible to hold and would result in the destruction of humanity?
I don't think the phone and beard thing alone would be enough given it's not a normal situation but get it with all of the other aspects too that it seems more likely to have been faked. On the accent thing could it not be that they have been brought to Moscow from elsewhere and then sent to the front line so they might not all have Moscow accents?
