I don't think that it does alas.

If Ukraine recovers all its lands then it probably doesn't change anything in Russia or effect a rehabilitation of the state as per Germany Post WW2. Could be seeing this happen sometime in the future.

If Russia gets to hold any of the lands it has seized then resentment continues and you'd have to be Nostradamus to know how that could play out.
 
According to Ukraine Intelligence reports, Russians are sending massive amount of troops to Belarus, plus Lukashenko announced of forming Joint Command with Russians and sending his troops to border in "defensive measures". Plus this new Russian apparently brutal commander in charge.

Seems to me Russians are preparing for new offensives from all directions, with Belarus participation. Probably gonna take like 2-3 months for preparation and all those hundreds of thousands (1, 2 million according to some reports) of conscripted troops to get ready, and then we could expect another massive push.

This gonna escalate to crazy levels in next few months, gonna be a bloodbath.

All getting very confusing for western media. GCHQ reports Russia is running out of weapons yet just a week or so ago it was alleged they had bought thousands of missiles from North Korea. Now they are allegedly massing 1-2 million troops for a new offensive who we can only believe will be armed with rusty WW2 era rifles and pitch forks. Will the western propaganda machine ever get it's story straight?

You seem hell bent on ignoring the fact that there was a chance of peace early on that was brokered by Turkey and if the Ukrainian Foreign Minister is to be believed was close to being agreed. Any peace needs at least one side to make concessions. But then as a spectator sport why not watch continuing death and destruction and maybe even a nuclear Armageddon just to end the entertainment. Just cross your fingers that the wind doesn't blow in your direction.?

Would potentially be beneficial to open up lines of communication before this guy gets going. Need to have off-ramps and descalation routes available.

This guy will have no twinges if conscious over using things like phosphorus or hitting nuclear targets. Righteous anger and retribution won't ever mend that harm.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if Elon Musk was floating out how an acceptable endgame would be viewed.
