A very interesting point. Russian military strategy has been rather poor hasn't it? A vast understatement.

I guess Russia is hoping for winter to kick in and kibosh any immediate Ukrainian action.

If Russia actually hit key infrastructure close to the front then they could force that and give them time to recover their capabilities before spring. Good job they don't read GOT.

Russia are like a boxer who won the first 6 rounds and are now holding out for the final bell and a referees decision- the main problem being it's round 9 and they're goosed with 3 rounds to go after this.
You sure?

I am joking before anyone starts!

It is absolutely pro-Russian, the allegation was that the EU are the puppets of the US even though the security interests of those countries (especially those who were under Russian control at some stage in the past) are clearly at risk here. I wouldn't mind but prior to 2014 there was a fairly clear reduction of arms levels in the EU and in Russia,

There are no European armies who would fancy their chances against Russia, and the "demonisation of the Muslim world" (in the West anyway) is more a consequence of 9/11 and the ISIL attacks (in the aftermath of Iraq) than anything else.
Which were all the result of US/ CIA involvement in the Afghanistan during war with Russia. As for puppetry Blair for one danced for his masters in the illegal invasions of Iraq and Libya. And as for any NATO countries fancying their chances,if current media reports are to be believed they'd be up against a Dad's Army with rusty rifles and mouldy packed lunches.

David Cameron was leader when Libya happened

So none of the troops on the ground or those involved in air support were from member countries of Nato?

By that logic, the CSTO has invaded Ukraine. Because Russia is a CSTO member and Russian troops have invaded Ukraine.

So your logic (one NATO member state taking an action = "NATO has taken that action") suggests that Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are all equally blameworthy because they are the other members of the CSTO.

Twist, avoid, vacillate, prevaricate, equivocate.

What war crimes will you delight in today, vatnik?

Ooops sorry, I used an acronym again. CSTO stands for Collective Security Treaty Organisation.
