I don't think it would, but whether or not it would is neither here nor there.

If you want to talk about unjustified invasions that cause humanitarian disasters and years of crises, then 2003 is as bad as 2022. Acknowledging that is not helping "Russian apologists", its acknowledging a fact that the law (any law) can only work if it is applied to all in a fair and just manner.

I'd like to see Putin in a dock for what he has done, and I'd like to see Bush and Blair in one too.
Me too

Serbia says hi. As does Libya and Egypt. First one direct NATO attack on a country without any legal justification the second two NATO actions in all but name.

By China do you mean they're seeking to take over Taiwan when you say the territory of others? Kinda forgetting legally Taiwan is part of China...
Serbia was completely justified imo. They were killing tens of thousands of civilians across two different conflicts.

that is one of the more idiotic pro-Russian talking points here

If anything, the US is the one responding to its European (especially its Eastern European) allies, rather than directing their behaviour. The Poles for example know what could happen in the future and have no wish to experience that again; to say they are being manipulated into fearing Russia is ludicrous given the history of Poland - Russia relations.
It's hardly pro Russian, more based on recent history in the middle East and Afghanistan. The US demononised the Muslim world and NATO fell into line. Given the last few months most European armies would fancy their chances against Russia.

It is absolutely pro-Russian, the allegation was that the EU are the puppets of the US even though the security interests of those countries (especially those who were under Russian control at some stage in the past) are clearly at risk here. I wouldn't mind but prior to 2014 there was a fairly clear reduction of arms levels in the EU and in Russia,

There are no European armies who would fancy their chances against Russia, and the "demonisation of the Muslim world" (in the West anyway) is more a consequence of 9/11 and the ISIL attacks (in the aftermath of Iraq) than anything else.
