What were the “concessions” mate? I’m genuinely intrigued. If they were for Ukraine to give up a chunk of their country, what would stop Russia trying their luck with other countries?

Christ, can you imagine if you were knocking about during World War 2…. You’d give Hitler the moon on a stick because you’d be terrified in case something happened to you.

It is 100% the ones that were in the news come 2 weeks after it started, where Russia issued a total surrender more or less.

You seem hell bent on ignoring the fact that there was a chance of peace early on that was brokered by Turkey and if the Ukrainian Foreign Minister is to be believed was close to being agreed. Any peace needs at least one side to make concessions. But then as a spectator sport why not watch continuing death and destruction and maybe even a nuclear Armageddon just to end the entertainment. Just cross your fingers that the wind doesn't blow in your direction.?

Nah he's of the opinion that when Putin says "ok I stop here now comrade" - he actually will, and definitely won't wait and amass weapons on the border for 6 months before going again. Just like he did for Crimea.
