Cheers.

You do understand our skepticism, particularly from the multi-wum poster, right?

Ofc any official media from either side I regard with massive scepticism. Even the media on either side right now is so polarised in its bias that it's hard to not be sceptical when a lot of it comes down to 'according to ua, or according rus reports/statements'.

Very very little 'none controlled/managed' actual reporting going on in all this.

Weirdly the most reliable news is when it's confirmed by the other side also.

Precisely, hence my request.

If you're not Chico or one of the regulars, I'll be disappointed.

No mate, I'm am pointing out a longstanding series of journalists who have been killed after critiquing Putin or his regime (edit: a rich tradition seemingly going back to the Yeltsin regime).

I'm also curious about your view on the Salisbury poisonings? What is your view on what happened?
Dr David Kelly?

Oh mate, you're feeding the WUM too.

Let HIM answer.
Holding a different opinion from the gang of big boys in the playground doesn't automatically make anyone a WUM. There was an interesting documentary on the other night about a bloke who worked for GCHQ then MI5 who ended up in pieces in a sports bag in his bath. Despite no evidence of any type being found at the scene the program concluded it was the Russians. Now there's a surprise.

Who do you think did it?

Is he lucky to be alive?

PS. People have quoted Rybar, another Russian state-sponsored media. Are they wrong to do that?
You're missing the point.

Why is Russian state-affiliated media labelled as such? Because so often it misreprents itself as unbiased, when in fact it is an organ of Putin's propoganda machine.

In answer to your questions:

Yes he's lucky to be alive. Of course that presumes that "Wyatt Reed" is a real person, telling the truth about his experiences. Which I doubt, given that he has been identified as Russian state-affiliated media.

As for Rybar, the same cautionary note applies. Read it and cite it, by all means. But don't present it as objective, unbiased or verified fact that is somehow beyond question. Just makes you look like an apologist for the mass-murder of thousands of Ukrainian women, children and elderly folk.

No that's your default position for any poster who doesn't tow the party line.
If you're happy to believe everything that the Western media pumps out good for you. Seeing the flaws in the US driven narrative doesn't make anyone guilty of supporting Russian atrocities.
