Appears it may be an understandable limitation on the front lines to avoid Russia using the technology
They're wanting to make sure all their precious tanks get a go at the action. I can't wait to see the T-34s.But @bluestevon says they’re winning and are just regrouping and re-equipping with more new tanks and stuff.
I thought this SMO of Vlad’s was only supposed to last a week or two, and here we are, 8 months down the line. What on earth can have gone wrong with the mighty Russian war machine? You seem well informed, so do tell.Economically they are winning it, it's what happens when you base an entire strategy on sanctioning someone who understands the energy market better then you do, and the by proxy of fertilizer and grain.
Militarily I think Ukraine are taking land back at a absolutely huge cost in terms of men and equipment, losses that won't be sustainable for long. Meanwhile Russia is buying time to train and replenish supplies and hardware. Much like Ukraine did in march-july by forcing every inch to be fought over, again at a huge loss in personnel.
Do I think at a point Ukraine will lose all the territory and a lot more than what they're regaining, yup I do. Do I want that, no, I want the entire thing settled now through diplomacy (which obviously won't happen ofc)
Feel free to archive this post and quote it back to me in 4 months time
Out of curiosity @bluestevon are you currently based in Russia? I know you've indicated familial ties, but just curious of where you get your information from?
Not having a pop, it's fair to say all media has a slant or angle on things to a greater or lesser degree, deliberate or not.
LOL that anyone can look at that list and think it will not grind your country to a standstill. Good luck with the new Lada thing they were making.

But @bluestevon said they were winning!? Why keep sacking generals?
And yet posters on this thread carry on insisting that the US had no part in this, and the fact that Turkey brokered a deal were Ukraine ceded a level of autonomy to the Donbass and promised not to join Nato but Zelensky withdrew after pressure from the US and UK they will completely ignore.?Rose was being factual. In 2014 when it aired, it was an apt description of the competition for influence in Ukraine between the United States and Russia.
So what are we supposed to do, then? Lay down and accept land grabs by force of arms? We may end up in that situation, but if so it will be because it turned into a "never again" like the Holocaust.
