Also the rant about the need for the improvement of the military and industry! Putin has amased a fortune, suggested at over 200 billion, robbing national resources and pilfering government coffers. The regime have their yachts, and as we have seen from the looting some of the population don't even have toilet seats. The regime have their palaces, the army have second world war kit and millions of missing uniforms.

Corruption and a population drip fed propoganda is an awful situation and in this respect Russia has a wake up call looming. For Putin, he wants to enjoy his billions. The reality of a mafia based upon lies and fear is gripping Putin now. He clearly has people around him afraid to tell him what the reality of Russias situation is. They are all begining to understand now so I expect Putin will be looking for the best path out of this that will allow him to survive and enjoy the money that he has stolen.
