One of the points raised in this article is that the average Russian is more bothered about mobilisation than the war and war crimes being committed in their name. I suppose it will only be a matter of time before the hundreds of thousands of Russians who have chosen to flee the mobilisation will start protesting en masse against the war, in the safety of the countries they are in...
 
I'll ask my mate who works in oil and gas, particularly pipeline failure analysis. See if he thinks its plausible.

Single most difficult thing I've ever had to translate from English to Russian was for a student doing his masters in this field, who wanted a 30 page technical report and analysis translating

I literally didn't know half of the technical words meaning in English.
