Brutal for Russia, and looks like Ukraine are very close to taking the rail line that is the last way for Russia to poorly supply a large portion of the remaining territories. Im not sure what Russias troop situation still looks like, but seems indications are this offensive might have been slower than its about to be, due to thin Russian lines. Hence the desperation to have the "referendums" and sudden attempt to call up "troops" and already throw them into Ukraine.

I wonder if the most recent offensive doesnt look like a turtles pace compared to what Ukraine tries to finish before Winter.

Lyman was a bit of a bloodbath by all accounts. Seen some reports saying there’s still hundreds of Russian soldiers hiding out in the forests looking for a way to escape.

A horrendous situation to be in regardless of which army you fight for.
