I've already came across a few videos of mobilised troops saying they'd been dumped on the line, with no supplies and no direction from their officers.
There are many other videos of newly conscripted troops off their trollies on vodka and whatnot, so I can't see them being in any fit state to survive on little.
Without well-trained forces being put into the line to face the assault, the whole Russian defence may start to disintegrate from that point onwards.
