I think a lot of things about this war aren’t going to be forgotten, at least for a long time.

I agree that their presence is used to portray it as a Russian war vs NATO rather just Ukraine but even without their presence that bridge was kinda crossed with supply of arms anyway.

Also US citizens are free to travel and join in fighting for other countries even if the US itself is not involved in the conflict (Battle of Britain Billy Fiske for example). Short of designating the Ukrainian military as a terrorist organization (like ISIS ) I’m not sure how their presence could have been avoided.
 
With Russia annexing and claiming these latest areas as their own and Ukraine taking back so much ground, I can't help but feel Putin has positioned for further escalation. The Russians were losing ground prior to yesterdays events, looked inevitable they would lose more ground ahead of a winter in which they will get battered by Ukrainians who are well equipped, the weather and shocking supply lines. He'd be mental to resort to nukes but he's clearly as mad as a bag of magpies and will claim defense of Russian territory. Perilous

So, this may not be familiar to you with where you are from, but in the US people have the individual freedom to do what they want when not employed by the government. It will have a 0% impact on the views of anyone in Russia or internationally, as you very well know outside of the trolling.
 
@chicoazul can you please produce a wool/orc map so we can settle this territorial dispute and get back to our full time roles of booing the Blues, booing @MaupsGoat 's beluga body and posting in the fit birds thread fracturing as many visible nipple regulations as possible?
