Lots of socialists and anti-fascists have been warning about their corrosive influence for years mate. Apparently you cant talk about them because another countries leader is bad though.
The BBC's about face is not really a surprise. Yes we all know what Putin is,but the UK and Nato medias clean up job on the Ukrainian far right makes me suspicious of a lot of their output. They report as if these YouTube videos don't exist.

If you look back a bit you’ll find the azov Regt we’re formed in 2014 as a direct result of Russian intervention in the Donbass region, with the goal of facing off against the pro-Russian separatists.

Fast forward to earlier this year and you’ll note that Putin committed the neo-nazi Wagner group to the fight.

Putin had no intention of de-nazifying Ukraine in reality he put nazis into Ukraine.
If you care to look a little further back you'll realise that they existed before this but formally became part of the national guard and formed the Azov battalion.

The Wagner group are in my eyes just a mob of rent-a-nazis.

It's a shame they didn't put Azov vs Wagner and let them annihilate each other.

But nobody is saying they do.
I think what @Noisy noise annoys was trying to say was that you specifically called out Zelensky for arming and militarising Azov yet failed to look at the flip side with Putin deploying Wagner // other random Ru PMC’s.

Azov we’re around way before Zelensky came to power (armed and part of Uke military).

So If you’re going to call out one side for this malarkey then it’s only fitting that you should look on the other side of the fence, to provide a more balanced view.

But I responed to a link about Zelensky. That was the discussion. Of course what Putin is doing with Nazi's is also wrong.

Russian air defences around Kherson are getting hammered. Two S-300 systems destroyed today.

Uke Air Force will now come more into play. Definate counter offensive now around Kherson.

I'm not sure how this relates to my post mate?

I've got nothing against Ukrainian troops defending their country. As long as they're not Nazis. That's my line in the sand.

yes, there's a whole lot of spinning going on, but the original point still stands: he fired an attorney general and a childhood friend for 'treason', something Western observers find hard to believe. It is worrisome.
There's more going on than meets the eye, there are internal power struggles going on we don't know about.

Still, it's legitimate to criticize or at least question him or his government about certain topics (invasion or no invasion). If they want to be a part of Europe, Nato & the Western World they should adhere to the same principles as we do or at least apologize for some mistakes. (I'm referring to the racist abuse the black people fleeing Ukraine got, or arming these Azov-warriors).

I'm very wary of leaders calling their own people traitors.

It's the rhetoric of tyrants to be honest. It sounds very alarming to me. It was horrible when we had that nonsense in this country during Brexit.
