2025/26 Tyler Dibling

The manager can gtf.

Dibling amonger others have been managed horrendously.

If the kids got any sense he’s got his agent to sort a move for him, he’s got no future here under Moyes.

You could be right or it could be they just aren't good enough. I don't think is Moyes is averse to playing young players - just seems like this season he hasn't been impressed by what he has.

Do find it strange could be wrong but on sunday dont even think the lad got up to warmup . Is a strange situation with him no idea what is like in training but for me him and alcaraz should be getting more game time. Give them a chance to show if can providing some attacking threat

You can only think he is really struggling being away from home and/or is doing absolutely nothing in training. At the start of the season, it felt like he was on the verge of the team but since then Moyes has gone well off him.
Armstrong, Rohl, Alcarez, Aznou banished as well and the little we seen of them they don't lack effort, so can we make that assumption about Dibling.

Moyes brought him in as right winger. If he’s a 10 then this is likely the reason why he’s not getting a sniff as it’s very clear KDH is very much one of Moyes main players and rightly so.

I thought Dibling played brilliant against Forest away but that Sunderland game was an absolute shocker
Weve got an 8 playing as a 10.
Signed a 10 being unused or as a 7.

All on Moyes

1 minute since early February. Safe to say the manager isn't impressed.
Cant be impressed with Rohl, Aznou, Armstrong, George, Iroegbunam either as things stand.

You're right.
But it's his own fault (and agents).
If I was a young promising player, Moyes is literally the last manager in PL I'd sign for.

100%

Correct.

Thats where the owners will be looking at the development of young players.

Ranieri said they'd brought in Gasperini due to his development of young players at Atalanta.

Gasperini says he wanted ready made players in Jan.

Ranieri says they signed young players in summer and Jan to supplement the top 5 side Gasperini was taking over.

You'd expect Everton would be the same as Roma. The owners wanting young players to be developed.

A Moyes fail.

Lets start a rumour about Armstrong being homesick?

Makes as much sense.

I saw an old friend couple of weeks ago whose nipper is in our academy and he said he something interesting about Tyler.

Apparently around this time last year he was confiding in friends that he really wasn't enjoying the life of a professional footballer and everything which came with it.

He loved coming up in youth football and playing with all his mates etc (I suspect the fact he found it so easy played a part too) but had struggled with the switch to first team and the associated pressures.

Obviously I have no way of knowing for certain if this is true, but the bloke in question I go back 30 years with so see no reason why he'd lie, and it might partially explain why hes struggling to settle so much up there.

I'm sure some will shoot me down for this but sharing anyway as reckon plenty would find it interesting.

Personally I hope it's not true / he gets over it as otherwise he'll definitely never reach his clearly very high potential.
Makes sense I suppose but if he is earning millions and has an adoring fan base unfortunately criticism will follow. I would have nothing but admiration for someone in his position to retire if he hated his job so much or at the very least take a paycut.

Won't happen but still...

I've seen other speculation that he's homesick, again justifiable. And his mental health is suffering. Boy has talent and hopefully he can get through this difficult time.

….as I’ve said many times, talent is only part of the ingredients, you also have to have the right mentality. It’s all part of the homework a club should do on footballers before spending a small fortune, possibly the best thing for him is to keep him out of the spotlight and hope he gets a hunger to play.

I think if he’s unimpressed with what he’s seeing, it’s because he’s looking for the ‘wrong’ things.
There’s no disputing Moyes is a risk averse manager, personally I don’t think he’ll let these players near his team until they demonstrate a combo of defensive discipline and or resetting their risk calibration to an extent that blunts their attacking prowess and instincts. Unfortunately it’s probably that attacking prowess that brought the Diblings, Anzou’s and Alcaraz to the clubs attention to begin with.

Best thing for us is to hope Southampton win the playoffs and sell him back to them for half what we payed

I expect he does everything in training, probably giving Moyes a proper Wow factor with his ability, but it all comes down to taking that to the field, which he just hasn't so far..

….i honestly doubt he does, certainly not if he’s not enjoying the game. There’s no hiding place among professionals, they test young players character (some great quotes from Harrison Armstrong about how he was tested in his first sessions at Preston).

If he didn't he wouldn't be in the squad.
The lad has bundles of talent he can show on a daily basis because a training pitch is a comfort blanket.

A full stadium has no blanket..
