2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Usual nonsense. If he gets Europe then it should be, I Zat, the lover of kids, am a complete bellend who knows [Poor language removed] all about football after criticising Moyes all season
Zat is right here though, this is a total waste of a season if we don't get Europe. Zero progress toward anything. The manager should be sacked if he falls short.

So a team that was battling relegation to a team that is safe in February and chasing European qualification isn't making progress? Right , thanks for clarifying that.

Yes because results don’t portend results. We weren’t as bad as the results when we almost went down and we’re not as good as the results right now. We’ve been somewhere between the 12th and 15th best side for the last 5 years or so and we still are that now. Finishing slightly above or below that is totally normal and doesn’t mean we’ve gotten significantly better or worse.

We are 8th right now though, that is significantly better than 12th-15th.

Both sides of this debate have a point tbh.

Don't think it's right to suggest that there hasn't been progress. Table is tight and we're probably over performing points wise, but there's been good performances sprinkled through the season and a few first team players have improved.

Equally though I don't think there's a lot of long term thinking being employed by the manager at least. Don’t think it should be controversial at all to acknowledge that the young players signed have been managed poorly.

Should have loaned him back to Southampton for the season..Not helped his progress sitting on our bench..
It's very sad and pathetic that things haven't worked out for Dibling. But frankly, it also doesn't reflect well on the coaching staff or management or whoever signed him for so much money in the first place and the current set-up/culture at Everton
