2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Ive been pretty consistent that either:

We get Europe OR We develop the young players

If we get Europe then Moyes has those young players who can play so theres no squad depth issue for the league in their positions.

If we dont then weve got a handful of young players who have been underused and underdeveloped.

Also what young player would want to play for a manager that doesnt use the likes of Aznou, Dibling etc and even when others like Alcaraz, Patterson and Rohl perform in a game...are dropped.

Could see plenty of player rejections in the summer and Moyes saying again hes "surprised".
Dead right, the culture and set-up is poor at Everton

When we see Lewis Skelly at Arsenal or Rigg at Sunderland not getting minutes it makes sense because theyre behind players doing incredibly well.

But with us its not only 1 young player in Dibling. There are others even going up to 23 years of age in Barry, Alcaraz and Rohl who I look at and wonder why hes signed them if theyre not going to be used to their strengths and when they do good things are actually dropped anyway.

George is only on loan but hes the one with the key element of pace and yet as we saw today wasnt used until the death.

As i posted elsewhere, I'd love the rumours of Lewis-Skelly joining in summer to be true and would be thrilled if we signed him permanently.

But why would he sign when he looks at how others above and even Aznou and Armstrong are used or not used as the case may be?

Its why Moyes has got to get Europe as otherwise its a wasted season in terms of player and squad development.

Strikes me as not being the type of character to rise to a challenge.

Definitely see him being loaned if Moyes stays here.

Never know, though whats the reason Aznou hasnt been seen since lighting up against Sunderland?

Why was Rohl dropped after Villa?

How was Alcaraz in/out after games where he played well?

Patterson has been fine when played and then dropped.

George has pace and yet seemingly not valued either.

Its a clear pattern that u19s, u21s and dare i say even u23s arent immune to Moyes whims.
