2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Thierno Barry's racked up games and minutes without a single goal all through the first five months.

Tyler Dibling has barely enough minutes to even break a sweet but you expect him to be a world-class game changer every single time he
comes off the bench.
Difference in body language - Barry actually looks like he’s trying / bothered.

For the record I’m not saying dibling isn’t trying.

Also in the ground no one is getting on his case, I think the crowd have been excellent supporting the players in Bramley Moore and giving them time compared to goodison over the years. No harm in chatting about it on a forum. There’s obvious things he can improve.

I thought the same.
I thought he did well when he came on.
It will take time but he will be very good for us.
So glad you said that. I enjoyed him taking one or two on everytime he got the ball. Didn’t have anyone near him each time and lost it a couple of times.

Jack has been criticised for not putting the ball in the box quick enough and he gets assists when he does. Dibling will learn.

This just isn’t realistic is it. He’s better than a loan. He needs to be used like he has tonight. Little cameos to build his confidence
Is he? You must be seeing something I’m not - if he’d come through the ranks without the big fee we’d all be advancing a loan for his development. I don’t think it happens as we’re short of bodies in wide areas but in terms of impact on a premier league match - Armstrong looks more assured and no-one was complaining when he went to Preston.

He’ll learn much more coming off the bench like he did last night than sending him on loan in the championship. Let’s not forget his performance away at forest, there’s a player in there. His performance last night was good.

People are expecting too much (because of the fee). Once again the lads 19. His best years are way ahead of him and I’ve no doubt he’ll become a regular sooner rather than later.

I don’t think people are expecting too much at all - just for him to run about a bit and show some aggression. What do we want Everton teams to be?

We can all see he’s got talent but he doesn’t look interested

We obviously don't see the training sessions but he can't be doing much there, because he certainly isn't showing anything much when he gets on the pitch match day.

Decent enough cameo. Should have taken the shot but tbh, don’t think the angle was particularly favourable and it was a 50/50 decision.

Every time he got the ball that had 2/3 even at times 4 players over to him. He needs an overlapping full back to help him. That being said, sides clearly know he has talent and hes dangerous otherwise they wouldn’t be overloading him so heavily.

He’s 19, he’s learning and he’s got ability - needs time and a bit of a patience

His best cameo to date.

Like Barry, a run in the side will sort his confidence out.

So terribly one footed, why didnt he shoot?
Barney , genuine question....how was that his best cameo? I genuinely don't understand why when he gets the ball he doesn't try to beat his full back and stands still waiting for the opposition to double up on him.

When the ball breaks to him in the box he doesn't even have a shot.

I'm totally perplexed.

I have to be honest, the more I see him play the worse the deal to bring him in looks.

I don't know if the lad really isn't great or if Moyes hasn't got a Scooby what to do with him or both.
