2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I know it’s cliche, but hes 19. There’s a really technical player in there. Once he finds his feet especially with experience he’s going to be quality.

The price tag is for a reason his potential is massive!
Yep. Confidence moves from one extreme to the other at that age. Need to be supportive of the talent if we want to see it come through, or it will only come through elsewhere.

I didn’t really understand why we didn’t try him on the left for 10 minutes tonight. He looked like he could beat his man but every time he did he wanted to cut back inside and lost it again. Seemed worth shifting him over to the other side so that he could try and get the ball in if he got himself half a yard.it may not be his natural game but it’s what we needed and simplifying things might have done him a favour.

Looks like he doesn’t want the ball, or even to be on the pitch!

I get that people are saying he’s a confidence player but he needs to be brave an have a go at getting at the defenders rather than turning back or inside every time for the safe option. There was two occasions when he made space to cross on his right foot but chose to turn back again, infuriating.

He still ends up losing it anyway going for the safe option! He wouldn’t have been my choice to come on when he did to try an change the game. Says a lot when we spent that much on him. He wasn’t the profile of winger that we needed, we were crying out for pace. I hope he comes good for us but just not seeing that player at the minute

It’s absolutely not his fault. Let me make that clear.

He’s utterly crap. He’s never a 40m player, his ceiling isn’t a 40m player, far from it. I’d state currently he wouldn’t get in some championship sides.

The squad didn’t need him, it’s ultimately criminal that we spent the majority of our transfer budget on him, when every one could see we needed pace.

We should either of bought a pacey winger or better yet put it toward two full backs.

Was dreadful there tonight, almost like he couldn't be bothered. I'm sure that wasn't it, but you can't come on in a game we're chasing and looking so off the pace.

Feels like a weirder buy with every passing week. He's a project player yes but a really good RW last summer could have been the difference between us getting Europe or finishing short. Why did the new recruitment team work so hard to get this over the line when the manager so obviously wasn't going to trust him? Answers on a postcard please.
