2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Already explained that.

He’s completely devoid of any confidence.

That’s why.
I really dont see how this has been the manager's fault. Dibling hasn't played well when he's had opportunities so I'm not going to criticise Moyes for preferring other players.

The full back options aren't helping any of our wide players but some of Diblings performances have been way below the required standard. He needs to do more and I think he can do more.

Afraid to say but, my prediction is that this kid is going to be back playing in the Championship / League 1 within two or three years. Had shown absolutely nothing to suggest he deserved a move to a club with supposed ambitions like Everton, either prior to or after the move.

You can normally sense when a youngster is going to be a bit special, or at least of real Premier League quality. I don’t think this lad is that. He looks absolutely petrified anytime the ball looks like going anywhere near him. Zero pace and in general looks so lethargic and as if he can’t be arsed. You can get away with that if you bring something else to the table (Grealish, Sheedy etc), but he currently just comes across as a bit of a nothing player.

“Yeah but he’s only a young lad”. Yeah but so is Aznou, but he showed more drive, confidence and willingness to bring something to the table in his short cameo v Sunderland than I’ve seen from all of Dibling’s appearances.

Hopefully I’ll be vaulted into oblivion when Dibling starts producing for us next season, but I really can’t see it.

French league 1 or are we talking Plymouth argyle league 1?

Really not sure how it's the manager's fault that a player didn't take on a shot when he should have. Decision making is probably the one thing you can only improve so much with coaching.
That decision was 100% Confidence.
The lad looks completely empty of it..

At the moment any decision he makes is adding another weight to his shoulders..

He needs a spark, like Barry's first goal for us.
A first assist, goal. The lads jumping on him cheering, that's the spark he needs..

Moyes didn't tell him to run down a blind alley 3 or 4 times tonight. There was some really poor decision making throughout his cameo.

I understand people say it's down to the manager to get the best of the players, but it's not a one way process. This definitely looks like Dibling needing to dig deep and find more within himself. People are deluded if they think a new manager transforms his game given what we are seeing right now.

I agree but that makes it even more confusing to me that he didn't want to shoot.
