2025/26 Tyler Dibling

….it would be much easier if you simply stopped making grandiose claims about players. We had it with Alcaraz about to become an ‘Everton great’, ‘worth £40m at the end of this season’ and latest with Dibling.

Problem is, when they fail to live up to your hype you try and row back by blaming Moyes or finding whatever excuse you can. Daily multi quotes about no6s, no8s and no10s when your posts are largely a no2.

Let’s see what happens with Dibling but ultimately that 10 x 2 letter word sentence is entirely appropriate for him;

‘If it is to be, it is up to me’.
Partly the fault of the club though Eggs, he'd already failed at Chelsea because he was homesick and in our current position we shouldn't have risked signing him, at the moment it's working out badly for both parties.

….agree, looks like we’ve failed to do our homework on expensive signings. Amazing with amount of monies being spent we don’t obviously appear to watch players or do character checks on them.

The ‘Transfer Committee’ look to have got off to a bad start.

I thought he looked like he was actively avoiding the ball like those kids who can’t play footy so run away from where it is .

Mentally the lad looked to have the weight of the world on his shoulders , to be it seemed like his biggest mindset was if I haven’t got the ball then I can’t make a mistake . I’ve no idea if that’s true but If it was it was I’d worry it was illustrative of his interactions with the coaching staff .

He could try breaking into a jog and see if the crowd go with him.

First thing we expect is you to put a shift in, that ‘performance’ today was nowhere near good enough on an effort level.

I’ve clapped f’ing Denis Stracqualursi off the pitch ffs - he isn’t in the same galaxy as Dibling ability wise.

Really needs to apply himself.

Agree completely. Just don't agree with the reaction. With young players, support is needed.

That exactly how he’s playing, kid seems broken and terrified to just play his own game, plus the fee is like a millstone around his neck.

Im very worried about his interactions with the manager and coaches; he’s always the one to get subbed off even though there are others playing poorly; we see them applauding McNeil from the touchline who totally having a mare and is allowed to carry on.

His confidence has been destroyed.

Does poor confidence stop you doing any defensive work?

I think people are starting to make the kid a whipping boy for the poor performance of the whole team and I think it needs to stop.

He's a young lad, still making his way in the game. The price tag is nothing to do with him, so people need to stop using it as a stick to beat him with.

We've bought potential. Every coach he's had says the boy has the ability to be right at the top. Let's help him develop and realise that with us, rather than seeing the anonymous keyboard warriors who think they know best, drive him out of the club
Same with Spurs thick as muck fans tail wagging the dog!

Theres more to life than being a miserable crunt ;)
