2025/26 Tyler Dibling

When will people wake up - all on Moyes this lad, the crowd moaning and groaning every time he makes a mistake doesn’t help either.

Seen glimpses in the limited game time he’s had that he should have been playing more, if not to play himself into some kind of form, but we get people being happy with Dwight being picked because he “runs about”.
Who's happy with Dwight being picked?
I want their name, address, favourite ice cream, pet's birthdays etc

I don’t get why when you must know you aren’t impacting the game at all, you wouldn’t just run hard. Try and close down hard and win a throw high up the pitch. Make an interception. Turn a couple of blind alleys into a foot race with the full back, might win a corner. If the talent is really there, he looks really confused. Gets the ball and it’s like he knows he is supposed to do something great, everyone is watching, but the defender is well set, a double team is coming over too, they aren’t falling for the old waggled foot trick, hmmmm. Pass it back to Jimmy.

Need to get him the ball when he is already moving for me. That’s when he can sway past people. Isn’t going to put a static defender on their arse with trickery.

I don’t like that I can’t remember Moyes saying anything good about him. Just drop something in to an answer in a presser about him developing well in training. Say we really wanted him and were pleased to get him, anything. Not just because he’s young and seemingly a little fragile. Need to build a bit of arrogance in him so he is compelled to show what he can do. Can’t see him doing an Aznou and playing angry to prove a point and stake a claim. Need a different approach to try and salvage things.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before but I read earlier that Ndiaye was at Boreham Wood at the age of 19 and Grealish was on loan in League 1 at the same age. If the injury situation improves before the end of the month, I would consider loaning him out for the rest of the season to get some game time and confidence.

Could take a look at mcneil, at least when hes having his usual poor showing he chases everything and mentally sprints to close down (because his legs don't allow anything past walking pace)

For everyone who is somehow trying to blame Moyes for his attitude and application can you please explain to me how his ‘effort’ was even remotely acceptable today?!

Maybe it’s only something you see if you’re at the actual match but the lad barely breaks into a jog.

That needs sorting before anything else, you simply can’t play top level football at walking pace like this.

That moment just before he came off where he tried to walk around four of their players and lost it (then threw his arms up - defeatedly) summed it up for me there.

Someone needs to get in his ear about applying himself.
I sai similar after either forest or burnley game, (cant remember which) he gets the ball and slows to a stop, doesnt want to take his defender on and is very one footed. I got lambasted from a few posters. I can wait for the apologies. Aznou came on today and took on his defenders, he probably lost more than he won but he got some energy into our game. TD soaks out the energy. I wish he didnt, I want him to succeed, I want him to beat players and make them look daft. He currently doesnt

Maybe we all just all need to back off for this season as frustrating as it is. Using phrases like salvage things is understandable because he cost a lot of money, but he is still only 19. It's not make or break time for him.

You'd hope behind the scenes they are working on getting him settled as much as possible and building up his confidence. Moving up here at 19 is a big ask for any kid regardless of the money he is on.

It's been a slow start but there's nothing we can do other than hope things get better and probably be prepared for it not to happen in the immediate future.

We're not in a position to be loaning out £40m wingers. He needs some consistency and to be playing in a team that he can learn in. As it is, he's expected to beat his man for pace 1 on 1 each time he gets the ball and the moment he tries anything there are groans if it doesnt come off.

Needs an arm round him and to be given some assurance he's going to get game time and be told to have a bit of freedom. He looked like a player who wanted to be anywhere else but playing for Everton today.
