2025/26 Tyler Dibling

We're not in a position to be loaning out £40m wingers. He needs some consistency and to be playing in a team that he can learn in. As it is, he's expected to beat his man for pace 1 on 1 each time he gets the ball and the moment he tries anything there are groans if it doesnt come off.

Needs an arm round him and to be given some assurance he's going to get game time and be told to have a bit of freedom. He looked like a player who wanted to be anywhere else but playing for Everton today.
I agree that he’d really benefit from playing in the team when our best players are also playing and having some of the spotlight taken off him while he’s on the pitch but regardless of the price tag, we have to wonder if he’s going to get much game time for the rest of the season when Ndiaye, Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall are back.

He looks like a kid who has been left out of the team all season.

Dropped in at random and dragged off at half time.

Then been fine and again dragged off at half time. Again today Rohl & McNeil are dog dirt yet hes the 1st to come off.

Same as Alcaraz. Had the confidence and desire to play his own game removed by Moyes.

Clearly needs an arm around the shoulder and trust. Martinez or Redknapp or Royle would get him going.

Moyes' comments after dragging him off last game show that hes not managing him well at all.

By the looks of things hes not managing any of the players well at all.
You are blind to Dibling’s lack of effort by your incessant Moyes agenda.

Getting him game time won't be easy. It's not like we blow teams away and we can bring him on at the 60 minute mark when we're coasting 3-0 up.

So then you're taking off one of your best players in a tight game for a player, who let's be honest, isn't likely to make a difference right now.

Think the best case scenario is that we loan a right winger as back up and loan Tyler to Southampton.

Sitting on our bench isn’t going to do his development any good. Moyes doesn’t fancy him and he’s not an impact player

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before but I read earlier that Ndiaye was at Boreham Wood at the age of 19 and Grealish was on loan in League 1 at the same age. If the injury situation improves before the end of the month, I would consider loaning him out for the rest of the season to get some game time and confidence.

Last season Dibling played in the prem 33 times mate for Southampton and he played in cup games for them. So unlike Grealish and Ndiaye at 19 Dibling has premier league experience.

The Southampton chairman came up with that ludicrous valuation of £100m based on absolutely nothing whatsoever. Dibling had done literally nothing to suggest he was, or even would be, anywhere near the top level.

But we took the bait like a bunch of right mugs and thought we’d got ourselves a proper little bargain at “only” 35-40m.

Now we’re beginning to look like we’re going to be standing about with our skiddy little Y-fronts around our ankles.

Terrific stuff.
