2025/26 Tyler Dibling

One thing you can say in his defence is that the lack of options our team provide him with doesn't help. Much easier to beat a man when there's players around you that you can use as a decoy.
It's not only him, but you see it with Grealish, N'Diaye and whoever else is played out wide: far too often, there's nobody close to them.

We've bought potential. Every coach he's had says the boy has the ability to be right at the top. Let's help him develop and realise that with us, rather than seeing the anonymous keyboard warriors who think they know best, drive him out of the club
Do you REALLY think that Moyes is the right manager/HC who can make him realize his potential tho? If not, then what the F was the point of even buying him?

He seems like the sort of player who may flourish in a team that's attacking and doing well. Deffo not a battler. Gives me Rodwell vibes in that he looks graceful but offers little. Having said that he's only 19 playing in a struggling side

We paid 42 million quid for this fella.

For everyone who is somehow trying to blame Moyes for his attitude and application can you please explain to me how his ‘effort’ was even remotely acceptable today?!

Maybe it’s only something you see if you’re at the actual match but the lad barely breaks into a jog.

That needs sorting before anything else, you simply can’t play top level football at walking pace like this.

That moment just before he came off where he tried to walk around four of their players and lost it (then threw his arms up - defeatedly) summed it up for me there.

Someone needs to get in his ear about applying himself.

Some serious mental gymnastics being displayed to try and defend an incredibly insipid display.

Weak, slow, no fight. Didn’t build on a couple of decent performances at all.

It’s the lack of aggression which is killing me, his head goes down far too easily.
But, but he's only nineteen, he's away from his home, he'll come good in time, we're not giving him a chance. We pay North of £40m to find that out.
Shocking signing at the best of times, when we need a player who will grab the ball and run with the fecker.

@Zatara did you see anything better today?!

How is it Moyes’ fault if the lad doesn’t try and apply himself, run hard, tackle - be aggressive?

Aznou showed him up and he’s barely had a kick yet.

Got an opportunity to play for a brilliant football club in one of the best stadiums in the world and just strolls about. I don’t get it. The full backs and strikers are a problem I know… but some urgency wouldn’t go amiss.

He’s young. I don’t want to hammer anyone. But he cost a fortune, he’s got an opportunity the rest of us would die for… and he doesn’t look like he even tries.

I do think he’s got heaps of potential but someone needs to grip him and get him running, I thought it had clicked for Barry in that respect a few games (he didn’t score but got a standing ovation, can’t remember who it was) - he’s been just as bad since sadly.

Minimum an Everton crowd asks for is maximum effort. If he put the effort and application in he’d make his own luck with the crowd with him.

Pathetic display today.

I think people are starting to make the kid a whipping boy for the poor performance of the whole team and I think it needs to stop.

He's a young lad, still making his way in the game. The price tag is nothing to do with him, so people need to stop using it as a stick to beat him with.

We're absolutely not heaping all our woes on him.
The price isn't the issue upto a point. If we'd got him on a free his performances wouldn't stand up to scrutiny and would warrant the criticism heaped upon him.
Don't start me on potential either. Have you forgotten about Chermiti. Just insert his name in place of Tiler and its history repeating itself. We don't do "potential"
