Two Planes flying in tonight

Thats what I think, don't get me wrong the lads got talent but he's completely unproven. He's only had about 25 games in his whole career and people are saying he's worth 8-12 million. Not for me anyway.

Moutinho and Fernandes would be my top targets, both look very doubtful at the moment sadly.

If that rumour on Tiago is true, I don't think we'd be at any loss compared to Manny or Moutinho.

Michael Johnson is a far far better player than Fernandes for me , i do remember the lad when the Fernandes saga was going in and he did post a few times regarding the appartments.

He's not, he's completely unproven. He's played about as many games as Victor Anichebe and people have bigged up over about 10 good games. In reality he came back and had a [Poor language removed] second half of the season, being English he's been badly overhyped. He's also having a shocker for City of TV now.

Fernandes has far more to his game and has actually proved himself in proffessional football.

Not this again.......

Don't build yourselfs up for a big fall boys.

I want players in more than anyone. but i'll just wait till it happens.

Johnson did have a poor second half of the season last year ( probably down to his stomach op ) but hes got the lot to be a top player although he does nees fine tuning.

since being at juve hes been widely regarded as a big flop, but he came in jan which players dont usually play to their full potential, he came to a new league completely different to the prem and i dont think hes settled in, looks like he sacked newcastle off for us (coz there [Poor language removed]) i rekon he wants to be with his m8 nuno like some have said.

hes a very good passer, would be a welcome addition to our midfield

I don't know much about him, I haven't seen him play for a few years.

Is he a good player, a bit of info would be nice.

Well, he started as a SC Braga defensive midfielder. He was very young at the time. Very disciplined, he was a great marker and very hard working.

He then went to Benfica and he blossomed under Camacho. Playing with Petit in the midfield, the skinny anchor man started playing as a box to box. And he started to score on a regular basis, showing very good off the ball movement and great passing ability.

I still remember his press conference at Benfica when he said something like "It's great to be at a massive club. I'll try to learn as much as I can. I'd like to step in to another greater club, but I don't think that will happen...I may not be able to evolve that much".

Then Mourinho took him to Chelsea. Wasn't first choice, but played a role in the title winning team. Next stop Lyon, the once humble fellow wanted more football. And he just went to another level, playing with Juninho by his side.

Always showing great ability to score and to distribute.

Next stop was Juventus. Very negative year, but still regarded as the great mistery of italian football. I'd say Ranieri was the one at fault, but that's just me. :D

If he finds his feet, he'll gain his place back in the national team easily.

First, I hope that its true, and that we can sign however it is. Second on Michael Johnson, he's playing tonight, so he'd be cup tied in Europe for this season. Have to say, having a good game tonight even if Citeh are about to lose at home.

Thanks for that mate, sounds good.

Seems to typical Moyes signing really. Someone who's lost his way a bit and needs a fresh start. Similar to when we got Arteta and Pienaar.
