TV Series

I thought season 3 started off slow but picked up near the end of it.
I thought Mason Verger was boss and when Francis Dollarhyde came in it picked up.

I think they should have split those two chars up. Didn’t need them in one season. The first season was just so good and season 2 wrapped it up nicely that I just didn’t see how they could top it.

Based on your recommendations we started EP1 last night...it was good but not great: bit formulaic so far. Does it get better? No spoilers or even plot descriptions, please...we're going in blind!

Tho' saying that I watched the classic 60's film The Haunting just a few months ago...this series is a remake of that, right down to the name of the spooky house and inner garden sanctum with the statues and the spiral staircase. The film had different characters, tho'...no family with kids. Recommended watch if you don't mind black & white.
I would say it definitely gets better. It builds to a couple of great episodes in the middle of the season (episodes 5 & 6) and then finishes off really well.

Ep 5 and 6 are absolutely amazing. Peak of the show - it hits the mark mostly but kind of bottoms out by ep 10. Finishes it up nicely but maybe could have wrapped it up in 8.

Watched the first two episodes last night and, despite the fact that I can't stand Sandra Oh in anything I've seen her in, I'm going to give the next two a go tonight.
Watched a few more episodes and I've got to say Killing Eve is one of the series I've enjoyed the most in recent years. Black humour, twists and turns, as long as you aren't expecting realism.
